Vacuum pumps are used for cleaning gases from the impurities. The process is carried out by creating the required pressure level in the chamber. Like every equipment pumps need periodic inspection and repair. Here it should be noticed that the process of restoring the unit's performance is complex. It requires not only tools, but also knowledge and experience.

The most common problems are:

 -Amortization of membranes, hoses, oil seals;

- Spontaneous activation of the pump;

-The liquid is supplied unevenly, the pressure intensity changes all the time;

-The system does not shut down, but continues to work.

Amortization of elastic structural elements can be solved by replacing them. Developers of vacuum pumps offer ready-made repair kits that have everything you need to quickly fix the problem.

 If the pump is switched on without the appropriate command, there may be several reasons:

• The rubber membrane needs to be replaced;

• The pressure inside the tank is insufficient;

• Pressure switch failure. Can`t be repaired, only a complete replacement of the part can be done;

• During operation, the pump captures air.

Under the influence of faults, the pressure inside is distributed unevenly.

There are many types of vacuum pumps. Each of them is designed to perform a specific task in specific conditions. Therefore, before choosing an aggregate, you should decide for what purposes it will be used, in case not to pay extra money for unnecessary equipment.

Rotary vane aggregates are available in the following types:

• Oil-compacted single-staged aggregates. They create a deep vacuum, reliable design and performance up to 1600m3 / hour. However, constant replacement of oil and consumables is required;

• Oil-tight two-staged aggregates. They have high vacuum that is used in large production facilities. But if the vacuum is bad, then there is an exhaust of oil, which must be constantly changed;

• Dry aggregates. The vapors do not contain oil, but the created vacuum is not always suitable for the selected direction;

• Claw aggregates. There is no oil in the steam and the capacity is up to 1000m3 / hour. But there can be a problem with a low vacuum and temperature loads.

Water ring vacuum pumps are simple in design and can pump out streams with heavy contamination. But these pumps need a lot of electricity and water to work.
